We collect no personal information. The game runs entirely on your device and does not ask for your name, email, location, contacts, or any identifier.
The only data that exists is local game progress — your unlocked tiles, saved decks, settings, and story progress. This stays on your device and is never sent to us or any server.
Because no personal data leaves your device, there is nothing for us to analyze, profile, or monetize. Your local progress is used solely to:
Mahjong Ethereal integrates no third-party advertising networks, no analytics tools, and no tracking SDKs (no AdMob, AppLovin, Firebase Analytics, etc.). We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA/AAID) and we do not serve behavioral ads.
All gameplay, matches, and AI opponents run locally on your device.
Your local progress is stored in the app's private sandbox on your device. It is not accessible to other apps and is not uploaded anywhere. To preserve your save when switching devices, use your platform's own device backup feature (e.g. iCloud or iTunes backup).
Uninstalling the app will remove this local data. We cannot recover it because we never receive a copy.
Mahjong Ethereal contains no behavioral advertising, no data collection, and no external communication features, making it suitable for general audiences including children under 13 under COPPA. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from any user, of any age.
You have full control over any data associated with the game: simply delete the app to erase all local progress. Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on our side. You may contact us with any privacy question at any time.
